The Dress I Take Everywhere
These are three versions of the dress I take everywhere. It’s not the flashiest or the sexiest thing in my wardrobe, but it IS the most versatile. Back in my fast fashion days I picked up the original version from H&M without much consideration of when/where I would wear it.. I ended up wearing it so many times that I panicked when it wore it out and started looking for a replacement on resale sites. Since then, I’ve bought and rebought it at resale several times in different colors, patterns and sleeve lengths,. At least one version of this dress has gone with me on every trip I’ve taken in the last 5+ years, saving room in my suitcase because it can be worn so many ways.
A few ways I’ve worn this dress:
Dressed up with a belt and heels for dinner
Thrown over a bathing suit for the beach
Combined with casual sandals and a sun hat for shopping
Tucked into shorts as a t-shirt for more active tourist activities
As a nightgown!
Good news: This dress can still be found in excellent condition on resale sites if you want to pick up one for yourself.

Pro tip: If you do buy one of these dresses, hang it up to dry. Putting it in the dryer will make it too short to wear as a dress!
